About the Course
The Supply Chain technical family covers the principles, policies, standard procedures and protocols to be set up and maintain in order to integrate, coordinate and control the movements and storage of medical and non-medical items; as well as related technical and financial information; from suppliers to beneficiaries. This, in order to meet the requirements in terms of quality and quantity, in an efficient and timely manner. It encompasses all necessary steps from need definition and planning to purchasing, transport & customs, warehousing and distribution.
At the end of the course you will be able to:
- List the different steps of the Supply Chain process in MSF and the main activities related to them.
- Identify the main activities of the ordering, procurement, transport and warehouse steps of the MSF supply chain.
TRAINING APPROACH
This is an Online Course (combination of self-study and live sessions) composed by:
Part 1: Welcome session (commitment: 1 hours)
Live session, all participants with the facilitators. Introduction of to the course.
Part 2: Online course: Module 1, Module 2 + 2 Case Studies (commitment: 12 hours)
Individual and autonomous self-learning course
Part 3: Live session: Q&A (commitment: 2 hours)
Live session, all participants with the facilitators.
Part 4: Online course: Module 3 (commitment: 3 hours)
Individual and autonomous self-learning course
Part 5: Final Live session: Q&A and closure (commitment: 2 hours)
Live session, all participants with the facilitators.
DURATION
This course means 20 hours of your commitment.
WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
The targeted profiles for this course are Log Managers, Log Supervisors and Log Team Leaders.
METHODOLOGY
This course is a blended training composed by:
1. Online part: Where you, as a logistician, will go through different scenarios, where you will face some challenges and learn important concepts regarding to energy.
2. Live Sessions: Together with the rest of the participants and facilitators, you will be able to solve questions or doubts and work in a case studies to put in place all the knowledges acquired in the online part.
All live sessions are in group and mandatory.
EVALUATION & CERTIFICATION
At the end of the course, you will receive a badge. To achieve this badge, you must follow all the modules and webinars until the end and make all the proposed challenges.
HOW TO ENROL
The enrollment for this training has to be done through the Learning Unit application form. The dates for the sessions will be announced in OCBA Brochure.
ATTENTION: This training is part of the online Logistical Technical Training (LTT), but it can be done as a single unit without following the full online LTT.
